Dining Halls

Chefs at Hamilton College are committed to providing a unique, healthy and flavorful dining experience at every meal. 

Things to Know

  • The Unlimited Meal Plan (21) offers unlimited access to Commons and McEwen dining halls (our two “all-you-care-to-eat” dining halls), the Diner, or a single meal period access at the Little Pub (for Pub Lunch).
  • The 21 Unlimited Plan includes 10 guest meals per semester.
  • All first-year students are required to have the 21 Unlimited Plan.
  • The 14 Meal Plan offers fourteen meals a week which can be used in any of our dining locations. The 14 Meal Plan includes 20 guest meals per semester.

  • The guest meals provided as part of the 21 and 14 meal plans can be used for meals for a guest, for a second entrance during a meal period, late night meals in the Diner or for meals during a break period.

  • Meals are to be consumed in the dining halls. Students and other campus diners are welcome to take a single serving of a fruit, dessert or beverage to go, but food may not be removed in personal containers or backpacks.  If your class or work schedule makes it necessary to take your meal out of a dining hall, please make arrangements with the dining hall manager on duty.

  • Parents who accompany students to the dining halls will not be charged and may dine as our guest. (Exceptions apply for campus event periods when other meals are offered.)
