Through independent projects, the Senior Program, and summer internships with faculty members, Hamilton provides an increasing number of opportunities for students to engage in significant — often publishable — research at the undergraduate level.

Research Programs

Hamilton offers its students outstanding opportunities to conduct research in all disciplines. Approximately 120 students receive research grants each summer.

Improvising and Collaborating

Inspired to create an all-Hamilton album, musician Anthony Reyes obtained an Emerson grant to spend the summer collaborating on the project with jazz bassist and composer “Doc” Woods, the Leonard C. Ferguson Professor of Music.
